Effective study habits are essential for achieving and maintaining a high GPA. Even more important is that effective study habits will help you to store information in long-term memory, so you learned to use the information in a new setting. The application of the following rules for the study supports you in earning excellent grades in school.
Thu: 1 Keep the area around your desk neat and clean. If possible, the region should also quiet. If you’re having trouble finding a quiet place to study, try the local library or park. The library is the perfect place to rest and peace. The park might not be so quiet, but the fresh air can make students less nerve-racking. If these options are not available, then try to listen to music while studying.
2nd Do you have a planned study time for each school day. Remember that a classroom hours should be reinforced by two hours from home studying.
3rd Sit down for 45 minute intervals, followed by 15 minute breaks. After a readily accessible target as meeting set period of time is effective to increase the motivation.
4th Reward yourself if and only if you have reached your goal for this study session. For example, if you plan to study and a chapter on success, then you can reward yourself by something pleasant. Examples of positive reinforcement are: nutrition, exercise, video games, etc.
5th Make your relationship between class and notes your textbook. This will help you fill out all the background information is not in the class.
